HISTORY

Trade Cutting Formes was established in September 1988 and is based at Tanfield Lea, near Stanley in Co Durham (just South East of Newcastle) in the North East of England. The original objective of the company was to provide cutting tools to the vacuum / thermo forming industry. Our customer needs required that we expanded our product range to incorporate:

• Printing and Packaging Industry

• Print Finishing Industry

• Corrugated Box Industry

• Gasket Industry

• Confectionary Industry

• Food Packaging Industry

• Automotive Industry

• Textile Industry

• Hygiene / Medical Industry

From very small beginnings in 1988 the company has grown and now employs eighteen people. We have been able to attract skilled and highly motivated people from within this specialised industry and have continued training and developing them, as well as employing trainees, we have over 100 years experience of die making within the company. To ensure we can service the needs of modern industry we have continually invested in technology with our CAD suite, two precision, bilateral bed laser cutters and three CNC processors.
